Heath Ledger

Inglise keele tunniks oli vaja teha ühe näitleja kohta lühikokkuvõte. Koheselt kui õpetaja oli oma lause lõpetanud meie järgmise kodutöö kohta turgatas mulle pähe meie seast varalahkunud, kuid väga, isegi väga hea näitleja Heath Ledger. Lisasin ka oma töö. :)

Heath Andrew Ledger was born on the fourth of the April 1979 in Perth, Western Australia. His nickname was Heathy. When he was in junior high he had to choose between two optinal subjects either cooking or drama. As he couldn’t imagine himself working in a kitchen, he tried his hand in drama. He was talented already then.
At the age of 17 he and his friends decided to go to Sydney. He belived it to be the place where “dreams are made” . But at first he wasn’t successful at all. His first real acting job was in “ Blackrock” in 1997. But before that he was acted in famous TV serial “Home and Away” in 1998 for a very short time. He played in several Australia films till the year 1999 when he made his break in “Two Hands” (1999) and after that he was invited into American film “ 10 things I hate about you” in 1999 which is the modern version of Shakespeare’s play “The Taming of the Srew” ( in Estonia “Tõrksa taltsutus” ). With this film he got the fame of a teen hunk (teismeline mürakas). He didn’t like it at all and accepted a role in a very serious drama “The Patriot” (2000)
He became famous with the roles in “Monster’s Ball” (2001), “Ned Kelly” (2003)

But the “ Brokeback Mountain” (2005) was the success for which he was nominated for an Oscar. His last film (unfinished) was “The Dark Knight” with the utmost role in 2008.
He died on the twenty second of January in 2008 in his apartment in the Manhattan
